About Katherine

Hello, I am Katherine and I have a passionate floral designer who formed Petals by the shore Weston super mare.

I am a beach loving Weston super mare resident with a soft spot for our arcade amusements and paddling in the sea with my children. Originally from Shepton Mallet and moved to Bleadon in 2015 where I met my partner Benjamin.

On completing my level 2 (2020) and level 3 City and Guilds in Floristry (in 2023) while attending Weston College in the evenings.

After birth of my second child, I launched Petals by The Shore Wsm the following year focusing on wild and natural seasonal farewell flowers. These flowers methods are sustainable and environmentally friendly techniques. I also offer seasonal flowers with floral hatboxes and Naked Bouquets.

I can be found in person often at local monthly markets like Bleadon market with my pop up shop of seasonal flowers and other floristry items. But you can always contact me for in person meeting to discuss your flowers.

I am currently based in Bleadon in my home studio. However, we are looking for a bigger place to grow and develop within Weston-Super-Mare or surrounding areas. I offer fresh and dried British flowers where possible for all arrangements.With a minimum spend of £30, I believe flowers a magical quality and should make you feel special.
